SO excited to be in the rain and get to use her umbrella even though she was mad she couldn't wear her rain boots! We may have had a shoe crisis this morning because they were too big!

The Playground

Once in a while, Edward will take Ella to the playground up the road so she can run around after he gets home from work. I usually stay at home so I can either make dinner or get some things done around her without Ella trying to "help". The playground is so perfect for her because it's at a church and during the day they have a wee care program. Here are a couple of pictures of her and Daddy swinging.

(The cat was not harmed in anyway and the scissors were taken away shortly after the picture was taken!) Sorry for not having the best quality pictures but most of my pictures are now taken by my cellphone because I always have it with me and half the time the pictures aren't bad.

Seatbelt

For the past two weeks we have had an extra car seat in our car, that we borrowed from a friend, so I could take another friend's little girl out. The little girl's name is Violet so every time we have got in the car recently Ella has asked to sit in Violet's seat which I didn't see was a problem until yesterday I hear her say "seat belt." I turn around to find this...


I promise she is not mad or choking. She was so happy with herself then as soon as I pull out my phone to take a picture she becomes super serious. She rode the whole way to Target that way so I'm guessing it doesn't bother her as much as it looks uncomfortable.

Day with Daddy

This past Saturday Edward watched Ella so I could go shopping in NC with some friends. Seemed like they had a great day besides Ella thinking donkey poop was rocks as they were walking through the field hunting for deer sheds. Here are some of the pictures from their day.

Looks like they had a wonderful time, maybe I'll do it again!

Snow Day!

We finally got some snow, Ella was so excited to play in it. It snowed all day Sunday and I finally took her out in it Monday morning and it already had started to melt. I took her up the street to see all the kids sledding and she wanted nothing to do it. She just stared at them forever and didn't want to leave. It was nice to have some snow around here, at least for a little bit.

Florida Trip # 2

As a Christmas present, my mom gave us tickets to come visit her in Fl so we decided to go down in mid-January. The weather was perfect! The morning we left here it was 18 degrees and when we arrived in FL it was at least 70. It stated in the 80's the whole week. Such a nice getaway!
Edward spent his whole trip fishing with Bob and thought it was the best vacation ever. My mom, Ella and I spent our time shopping, visiting the zoo and going to the beach. Ella is definitely a beach baby, she loves everything about it. She rolled in the sand, played in the freezing water, and enjoyed every moment of it. We also took her to the zoo again, the same one for our last visit but I think she enjoyed it so much more this time. Here are a few pictures from the trip, I didn't get too many this go around.





Oh and I failed to mention that Ella now has a boat named after her. She was pretty excited!


We are already looking forward to going back in May, for fishing, of course!
